It will be pedal power all the way when a team of five Moto cyclists hit the road later this year for Help for Heroes. The team will get on their bikes for the challenge of a lifetime and undertake the 350-mile-long Big Battlefield Bike Ride.
Riding alongside over 200 fellow fundraisers and members of the wounded, injured and sick military community, Moto’s team of riders will cycle through France, Belgium and into the Netherlands taking in key military sites and thought provoking history along the way.
Starting in Lille, the riders will pass through Waterloo then follow the 1944 route of the Allied Forces through the Low Countries towards Arnhem. Throughout the ride battlefield historians will bring World War Europe to life sharing the experiences soldiers would have faced during conflict. There will also be opportunities every day to pay respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Moto’s team of Brian Larkin (Chairman of MITC and Regional Director North), Ashleigh Lewis (Commercial Director and MITC Trustee), Brian Lotts (Chief Operations Officer and MITC Trustee), Julie Sturgess (MITC Trustee and RDD) and David Bold (General Manager Birch) will be fundraising at Moto sites in the run up to the big day on September 10th and all encouragement and donations are welcome!
Donations for the team can also be made via their Just Giving page http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/MotoBBBR
