We’re right in the middle of summer but it’s hard to believe it looking outside. Fingers crossed for an improvement in the weather so we can all get back to our fun, summer activities! ? We’ve written a round-up blog just in case you missed what we’ve been up to over the last two months.
We’ve had lots of customers sharing some of their MotoWAHEY moments and we’ve loved them all! Keep them coming and we’ll be sharing the best ones. The kids officially break up this month so we’re expecting lots more family MotoWAHEY moments! ?
We held two fundraisers across all of our sites, one for the Hero Ride and another to honour Armed Forces Day (25 June). We hit our fundraising targets for Help For Heroes. Big thank you as always to our fantastic hardworking teams as well as everyone who donated. It’s a great cause which we are delighted to be able to contribute to.
Festival season has begun and we’ve had lots of festival goers stopping off for some much-needed refreshments. Download, Parklife and Glastonbury have all taken place already and there’s lots more to come. If you’re planning on driving to your festival, use our route planner to plan your journey and plot in a safe break at Moto. Remember, we’re giving away up to £100 in Love2Shop vouchers for every major festival, keep an eye out for the next one!
To combat the bad weather, we’ve gone competition crazy, we’ve had competitions for truckers, festival goers and doughnut lovers. Our competitions are easy to enter, make sure you’re following our social channels and don’t miss out on our next competition, YOU could be the winner! ?

British TV and film star Julie Walters stopped by at Frankley site and posed for a photo with Lyn. Moto Frankley is a hotspot for celebrity spotting, it seems they can’t keep away!
We’ve listened to the truckers that visit Moto and built a new ‘& Relax’ facility at Medway Eastbound. Life on the road can be tough so we’re looking to make Moto as relaxing as possible after a hard day’s work. ?
World champion heavyweight Anthony Johnson stopped by at Toddington North. This was followed by Brazilian footballing legend Ronaldinho stopping by at Knutsford services on his way to Soccer Aid. ? ⚽
The brand new (and absolutely delicious) Nutty Chocolatta Krispy Kreme was launched at Moto. Our customers have loved it so far, have you tried it? Next time you’re on the motorway stop at Moto and pick one up, you will not regret it! ?
Some of our teams have been fundraising for local charities. Our Burton-in-Kendal team smashed Born Survivor (read more about it here) and the girls at Hilton Park completed the Tough Mudder 10km. We’re very proud of all their hard work!
Last but definitely not least we had Mark Wright visit us not once, but twice! We love seeing Mark and hope to see him again soon.
