We are SO proud to announce that we have won the Merchant Impact Award at the 5th annual Pennies Awards! π₯³π
The award recognises our significant growth in Pennies donations during the last year β the facility for customers to add a 25p contactless donation when making a purchase at many of our brands. This growth has raised an incredible Β£220,000+ for the Moto Foundation!
The funds raised from Pennies go to the Moto Foundation, enabling the charity to:
ππ§ Support national charity partners, Mind & SAMH
π«π€ Run its community grant, adopted school and community partner programmes
π³πΏ Give to environmental partners the Woodland Trust and WWT (Wildfowl & Wetland Trust)
π°π Donate to our brand partner charities, the Greggs, Costa and Pret Foundations, as well as Macmillan Cancer Support
Guy Latchem and Rob O’Connell collected the award at a ceremony in London this week, winning against big brands such as Superdrug, The Entertainer and Toolstation.
Thank you to all our colleagues who really take the time to understand the value of ‘think customer ‘and offer them the option to donate 25p to the Moto Foundation on each transaction. Giving back really is making a big difference. π
