This May Moto moved mountains for mental health again and raised £64,034 for national charity partners Mind & SAMH!
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
Following last year’s successful conquering of the Welsh 3 Peaks, this year 30 Moto colleagues headed to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to attempt 3 consecutive peaks in under 12 hours.
The team came together from across the business to fundraise an impressive £30,500. The challenge itself covered over 24 miles and included 5,200 feet ascent of the Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent peaks.
There were blisters aplenty, tears shed and not everyone was able to complete the full 3 peaks, but the team were sustained with decent weather, incredible views, and superb Moto team spirit.
Last Saturday was the day; 5 months of training leading up to this challenge and what an experience! A 3:30am alarm and off we went, helped by perfect weather. If anyone gets the chance to take part in something like this, jump at it! The team, the motivation, the feeling of accomplishment, the views, everything was amazing.”

Moto Moves Mountains site fundraising
Moto site teams came together to support the Yorkshire 3 Peaks team and raised a wonderful £33,534 with our customers. A huge thank you from Mind, SAMH and Moto Foundation for the support, energy and enthusiasm our colleagues bring to their fundraising, and to Moto customers for giving so generously.
£64,034 could cover the cost of two Mind Infoline Advisors for 15 months. Infoline (0300 123 3393) is open from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday (excl. bank holidays), with advisors answering calls on mental health problems, where to get help, treatment options, welfare benefits and advocacy services.
Moto Foundation began its’ partnership with Mind and SAMH in July 2022 and is committed to raising mental health awareness with our colleagues, customers and suppliers, as well as at least £1.25 million in funds by 2027.
