In an exhilarating stride towards the future of urban mobility, we are delighted to announce that Moto now has a total of 35 Electric Vehicle (EV) SuperHubs across our sites and 515 High Powered Chargers (HPC). This monumental achievement highlights not only a significant technological leap but our commitment to leading the charge making EV accessible on the motorways.
The inception of this project was rooted in the desire to redefine the commuting experience for EV drivers. By strategically placing 35 EV Hubs in key locations across major Motorway routes, we aimed to create a dynamic network that simplifies and enhances the way people navigate range anxiety and accessibility to chargers. We hope to continue to roll out more Superhubs to the rest of our sites – grid power permitted – and expand legacy sites. Our greatest expansion can be seen at Moto Exeter with 56 High Powered Chargers, making it the largest HPC site in the UK.
In December alone, we have installed 66 GRIDSERVE EV charging bays across 10 sites. This is a record for us as our last peak roll out was 50 chargers in both March & August 2023. We are trying everything we can to ensure that customers can travel freely over the festive period.
