West Cornwall Pasty Company have launched their winter collection that features 3 new recipes perfected for the festive period. Expect authentic pastry and deep filling that is something straight out of mythology. They’ve kept true to the recipes and craftsmanship of the past to make something that is truly the stuff of legend but this time, with a warm winters twist.
First on the line up is the Winter Sausage Roll – Minced pork belly and shoulder combined with smoky bacon, caramelised onion, cranberries and notes of parsley sage and thyme wrapped up inside a blanket of butter enriched puff pastry.
Next, we have everyone’s favourite tradition, a Roast Turkey Dinner Pasty – Hand crimped short crust pastry, jam packed with all the trimmings, including turkey breast and thigh, mini roast potatoes, parsnips, cranberries, pork, and sage stuffing and even a few brussels sprouts and a rich gravy.
Finally, the sweet and delicious Spiced Apple and Salted Caramel Pasty – Bramley apple, caramel, nut-free granola and a hint of Winter spice, all wrapped up in sweet buttery pastry.
