DONT BLOW YOUR LID is a new initiative launched by Burger King that aims to reduce plastic waste in their restaurants.
Burger King has announced that they will be removing all plastic lids from soft drinks (soda, milkshakes and frozen)* served to customers when dining in a Burger King restaurant nationwide.
This permanent change will make Burger King the first quick service restaurant in the UK to take this bold step, which is predicted to remove almost 17 million plastic lids from circulation and save over 30,000kg of plastic every year.
Moto is proud to support BK on this initiative and their target to reach 0% single-use plastic by 2025, as well as working towards all packaging being re-usable, recyclable or compostable.

Will lids be removed from all drinks served at Burger King UK?
This initiative includes all soft drinks served in BK cups when dining in-restaurant. This includes milkshakes and frozen drinks. At present, this will not include hot drinks, or drinks served via delivery, takeaway or drive-thru due to health and safety precautions.
