Craig Pennels reached out to Moto with a very polite email detailing his goal of breaking not one, but two Guinness World Records this year! Craig has been collecting lanyards for several years and has amassed over 870 lanyards of all varieties, brands and colours and is now expanding his passion for collecting to involve stickers.
Craig explained “I started my collection as I wanted to have that buzz of achieving a world record and to work hard at a project that is both, rewarding and exciting – especially when a new piece joins the collection. I am very keen to achieve this world record.”
The largest collection of lanyards according to the Guinness World Records stands at 3260, completed in 2014, with the largest sticker collection reaching a whopping 102,317. Although Craig has a big collecting journey in front of him, we are confident that he will succeed; especially if we all rally behind him.
At Moto, to help launch Craig’s new sticker collecting aspiration, we are asking our brands and departments to search for any unused stickers to donate for his attempt to be a Guinness World Record holder.
So if you have any unwanted stickers hiding in your cupboards or lanyards hanging from your doors – Craig would be delighted to receive them. If you would like to help out with his collections or find more about his journey, contact Craig at lanyard.challengercoincollector@gmail.com
