In 2012, Moto in the Community chose Help for Heroes to be our Official Charity Partner.
Help for Heroes provides support for veterans who have suffered illness or injury whilst serving the British Armed Forces, helping them to lead an active, independent and fulfilling life.
It makes sense then, that we’re supporting Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29th June 2019 by fundraising across all of our sites nationwide! Our fundraising teams will be cycling on static bikes, and raising funds at designated on-site fundraising stands, so if you see us, please dig deep. Proceed will help Moto in the Community support Help for Heroes, and will help us all #SaluteOurForces.
Armed Forces Day is an annual event, taking place on the last Saturday in June, and the celebrations for it start the week before, with the Armed Forces Flag being proudly flown at landmarks across Britain from Monday 24th June 2019.
