It wasn’t just the temperatures soaring this Easter. This year’s annual Easter fundraising challenge (13 – 22 April) broke all records, with the funds raised totalling £89,804 – the highest amount for any on site event to date.
There was a fantastic array of activities to be seen at all our sites including dress-ups, bucket collections, raffles, static biking and charity tables. And several sites were lucky enough to receive a special visit from Hero Bear, the Help for Heroes mascot as well as assistance from volunteers from Help for Heroes.
Brian Larkin, MITC Chairman said:
“I want to thank everyone for their part in reaching this record breaking total. It is only thanks to our staff’s dedication, enthusiasm and efforts that we can donate all this money to Help for Heroes. You should all be hugely proud.”
