The Moto Catering, Marketing, Retail and HR teams scaled new heights earlier this month when they climbed Mount Snowdon in aid of Moto in the Community.
The 25 strong team conquered Snowdon – the highest mountain in Wales and Great Britain’s third highest peak – on May 10th and thanks to enormous support have broken their fundraising target. Individual sponsors combined with generous corporate donations from the likes of Ginsters, Paynes Dairies, Greggs, Costa, Hains Daniels, Britvic and 24/7 Marketing resulted in the walk raising £15,000.
Marketing Director and MITC Trustee Chris Rogers said: “This is now our 7th joint team walk for the MITC, two years ago we raised over £6000 by walking the 12 mile Langdale Horseshoe in the Lake District, but we all wanted to set ourselves a tougher challenge and climbing Snowdon certainly provided that. We’d like to thank every sponsor, big or small, as all their sponsorship will go to those less fortunate than ourselves”
