Two Moto executives have been rewarded for the “fantastic support” they have given to our chosen charity, Help for Heroes, through Moto in the Community.
Southern Region Operations Director Jon Shore and IT Director Guy Latchem have won the charity’s Hero Award for their work in raising funds, Jon through the annual golf day and Guy through the annual clay pigeon shooting day.
They received the award at a ceremony at the Tedworth House Recovery Centre.
Bryn Parry, CEO and Co-Founder of Help for Heroes said: “For those suffering an injury or illness due to service, their recovery can last a lifetime. Knowing they have remarkable people like Jon and Guy standing beside them, willing to do amazing things, will make a huge difference on their recovery journeys. Together we are rebuilding lives, so thank you for your amazing continued support.”
Jon said: “Naturally we’re delighted to receive the Hero Award but the service personnel for who Help for Heroes does such a great job have given far more than we ever can. It’s an honour to support them.”
Between them Jon and Guy have help raise over £300,000.
