The Charity was delighted to receive the award for Community Interaction at the award ceremony on the 3rd December at an event held at the Orchard Hotel in Nottingham.
Brian Larkin, Chairman of MITC and Ashleigh Lewis, Company Secretary for MITC, accepted the award on behalf of the Charity. Brian Larkin said ‘we are delighted to receive recognition for our colleagues on our sites who continue to support their communities and our National Partner – Help for Heroes. The prize of £1100 will be added to these years’ coffers to enable us to give more funds away to our partners.’
The awards have been running for 10 years and this is the first time that the Charity has been nominated.
